Our Guarantee:

All products ordered from us are covered by our 100% satisfaction guarantee policy. If you (or your gift recipient) are not completely delighted with the quality or condition of a delivered product, we will unconditionally replace the product(s), or offer a full refund or credit – whichever YOU prefer. Please contact customer service by visiting the Contact Page immediately if there is a problem with your order. We promise to make it right!  

Returns/Refund Policy:

Every item we sell is carefully inspected before it is shipped. If merchandise is defective or damaged upon receipt, please contact us immediately after your package arrives for a return authorization claim code. All claims must be made within 3 days of receipt of order. Perishable and fragile products cannot be returned. These products are covered by our guarantee and will be replaced if they arrived damaged.

Substitution Policy:

Occasionally, products featured in our gifts become out of stock, or become discontinued by the manufacturer. If we are out of a product you have selected for one of your baskets (i.e., a specific tea, journal, cookie, etc.), our basketeers may substitute a similar product of equal or greater value in its place. Note that this substitution policy applies only to the products IN the baskets and not the baskets themselves. If we are out of stock of a basket or container you’ve ordered, one of our representatives will contact you to discuss substitution alternatives, backorder schedules, or refund arrangements.  Further, there may be information on the Site that contains typographical errors, inaccuracies, or omissions that may relate to product descriptions, pricing, and availability. Cup of Hope Baskets and Gifts reserves the right to correct any errors, inaccuracies or omissions and to change or update information at any time without prior notice (including after you have submitted your order).

Random Selection Policy:

Our beautiful English Bone China tea cups are sourced and sold as “vintage” merchandise/product. Each bone china tea cup will be a unique (one of a kind) item to the gift basket which it is sold and randomly selected. We will try to accommodate a customer’s specific color palette request, but cannot accommodate requests for specific china manufacture, patterns or designs.

Gift Card & Thank You Card Service:
The gift card and thank you card service available to customers is subject to the following guidelines. Out of respect for all of our customers and gift recipients, we ask that you do not use obscene, profane or threatening language in gift messages or thank you cards. Examples of the kinds of conduct or content that are prohibited in gift messages include, but are not limited to:
  • The transmission of any content that is profane, libelous, defamatory, obscene, pornographic, indecent, lewd, unlawfully discriminatory, harassing, threatening, harmful, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, abusive, inflammatory or otherwise objectionable.
  • The impersonation of any person or entity in any part of a gift card.
  • The transmission of any content that would violate the intellectual property rights of any other person or entity.
Cup of Hope Baskets and Gifts reserves the right, but is not obligated, to restrict or remove any and all content from a gift message that we determine, in our sole discretion, to violate these guidelines or applicable law or to be otherwise harmful to us, to other Cup of Hope Baskets and Gifts customers, or to any other person or entity.

Holiday Order Policy:

Happy Holidays! The Holiday Season is our busiest time, so please place orders early! You may use the Delayed Delivery Date option outlined below for payment of Holiday orders. For large orders or multiple addresses orders please call or send us and email with your gift list.

We will stop taking Holiday orders on December 15th, so please order early.

Payment Terms:

For each product you order on the Site, you agree to pay the price applicable for the product as of the time you submitted your order, shipping charges, and any applicable taxes as described below.  Like most online shopping sites that use real-time credit card authorization and processing, we will charge your credit card at the time the order is placed, and you hereby authorize us to do so. Unless the order specifically requests a Delayed Delivery Date, all orders are shipped within 1 – 2 business days. Customers placing Delayed Delivery Date orders may, at their discretion, elect to submit their orders using Contact Customer instead of Pay by Credit Card. Orders submitted as Contact Customer will be charged when the order is shipped.

We accept MasterCard, Visa, American Express and Discovery.


Your receipt of an order confirmation from us does not signify our acceptance of your order, nor does it constitute confirmation of our offer to sell. We reserve the right at any time after receipt of your order to accept or decline or cancel your order (in whole or in part) for any reason. We may require additional verifications or information before accepting any order. Your order is not accepted until it is shipped (or a portion of the order is shipped). Notwithstanding the foregoing, you agree that, if we cancel all or a part of your order, your sole and exclusive remedy is that we (a) issue a credit to your credit card in the amount charged for the cancelled portion (if your credit card has already been charged for the order) or (b) not charge your credit card for the cancelled portion of the order.

Pricing & Taxes:

The prices displayed on the Site are quoted in U.S. Dollars and are valid and effective only in the United States. As required by Washington law, we apply State tax and local sales tax to all purchases (including shipping charges) shipped to Washington addresses. While we do our best to assure that the taxes quoted for a particular order are accurate for the applicable location to which the order is being shipped, should an erroneous quote be provided, we will notify you of such error before finalizing and shipping your order. Purchases shipped to addresses outside of the state of Washington have no sales tax applied.  You will be solely responsible for all applicable taxes, regardless of the amount quoted on this Site at the time of your order.

We use Shopify SSL encryption, which ensures that your credit card information is never compromised. All credit card information is transmitted using the latest security encryption and once the transaction is completed, no credit card information is retained or stored by us.
